Would you believe that Susan is still in the hospital? Well, she is. Every day we hope to get the call to say she is back at the orphanage so we can come visit, but we are disappointed every time. The last we heard was that she had a runny nose so they wanted to keep her a bit longer and they needed to do one last blood test before they could release her. That was on Monday and here we are at Wednesday. It's hard to believe that we have been here now for 17 days and we seen Susan only 6 times. To say we are heartbroken is an understatement. Unfortunately this is something that is completely out of our control. And unfortunately this is just how the cookie crumbles sometimes. All we can do is wait, pray, wait, then pray some more. There is no doubt that she will be in our arms soon, we just need to wait. Tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. we will have our court hearing. So if you are still awake at 12:30 a.m. MST please say an extra prayer for us. We trust that all will go well and Susan will be declared our baby girl. In less than 12 hours, Susan will be an orphan no more. She will have a mom and dad, three brothers and a sister, an extended family and together we will be her forever family! We are blessed! Enjoy this video from the first day we met our princess! It's an Orphan's lullaby, Susan's lullaby.
Sending love and prayers to little Susan. We want you well! Sending love and prayers your way, that the hearing will go wonderful tomorrow and that you will be NEW parents!
