Our Little Starfish

One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed
a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean.

Approaching the boy, he asked, "What are you doing?"

The boy replied, "Throwing starfish back into the ocean.
The surf is up and the tide is going out.
If I don't throw them back, they'll die."

"The man said, "Son, don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can't make a difference!"

After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it back into the surf.
Then smiling at the man, he said,
"It makes a difference to that one."

Pictures of our little starfish at today's visit. She fell asleep and stayed asleep for most of the visit. One of life's magical moments is holding a babe while they dream away!

I can't get enough of her delicious sausage links (hands)!

Proud papa!

She did not like the wind on her face....

....but soon fell back asleep.

It was a bit chilly today so we decided to continue our visit inside. She was trying so hard to roll over. I helped her but once she was on her tummy, she was not a happy girl.

She was hungry too. When I went to give her a kiss, she latched onto my lip and started sucking! Another precious moment!

Bye for now! Until tomorrow!

  1. What a beautiful starfish baby! That tummy time is tough! So sweet to see her asleep in her parent's arms. She knows a good thing!

  2. Are you allowed to disclose what RR region you are in? Not the actual country, just the RR Region.
I am just curious because I have a child I am praying for and I want to know more about his region. It is ok if you can't. I don't want any trouble.
Thank you for your comment about talking with S's mom in heaven and working it all out. I feel that way too. :)
